Tribute

From Ivan Brandon on September 10th, 2013
Buddy, our friendship goes back more than 50 years. We shared many laughs and a few tears. You were a great friend and even a better person. You are gone to soon but you will not be forgotten.

Peace, my brother.

Weedie,

You were here such a short time, but your light shined so brightly!

I will always remember the fund times we had and the wonderful friendship we shared.  You touched so many lives and left so many friends behind.

Rest peacefully and know that you are loved and remembered by all who were lucky to have had you as a friend.

Renny,

Not a week goes by that I don't think about the fun we shared.

  • Delivering the Post in Crestwood at 5:00 AM, winter, summer, rain or snow
  • Pushing that junker "Pointiac Chieftan" up the 14th street hill from Park Road so we could have a car, "if" we passed the driving test. Details like a title didn't concern us.
  • Bussing dishes for pocket money at Westbrooks.
  • Working on your Karmen Ghia that never ran when it rained.
  • Our last conversation about the "good drugs" that they provided in the hospital.
You are gone way too soon, but never forgotten. Time has not caused these memories to fade.
